Country in the Country 20120812

It's Country in the Country for Sunday, August 12, 2012.

Tonight's festivities kicked off with some Country Yossi music: "Shteeble People."

Then it was a barrage of shailes, with a Grand Prize winner or two thrown in for good measure. Dov Shurin checked in with the latest news from Israel. Then batting cleanup, it was "The Little Old Lady Named Pessy Deena."

A few more shailes, then a musical trip back to "Boro Park."
Hour 2 kicked off with your phone calls, followed shortly thereafter by the Beth Shifra Report. What's that? More Country Yossi music? We're so glad you asked! Enjoy "Oh Yankel."
But wait, there's even more, in the form of Rabbi Moshe Meir Weiss and his amazing Broom Closet of Knowledge, reminding us we should start Daf Yomi already! The phones kept ringing and Country Yossi kept answering and asking so you can keep answering. One last dose of Country Yossi and The Sheeble-Hoppers music with the classic "The Cover Of The Jewish Press."
We had some rapid fire phone calls and then we called it a show -- if you can call that a show! We'll see you next week!
