Country in the Country 20120805

It's Country in the Country for Sunday, August 5, 2012.

Tonight it was raining cats and dogs in the Catskills, so can you think of a better drip to spend a couple of soggy hours with than Country Yossi? Now that Tisha B'av is behind us, it's time once again for some Country Yossi music. We kicked things off with the haunting "Phantom of the Shteeble."
Then we spent an endless car ride with "7 Little Kids."
But wait, there's more! How about a little "Nebich of the Shteeble" for your listening pleasure?
Then the adults-only barrage of shailes began in earnest, whoever Ernest is!

We began Hour 2 with more Country Yossi music: "Shteeble People" and "I'm Proud to Be a Part of Am Yisroel."

Yossi paused for a moment to share the Beth Shifra report. And then Rabbi Moshe Meir Weiss joined Yossi to share memories of last week's Siyum HaShas. That was followed, naturally, by Country Yossi and the Steeble-Hoppers' tribute to Daf Yomi, "One Daf a Day."
And with that, another edition of  "Country in the Country" was destined for the history books -- or at least destined to be archived on this podcast. See you next Sunday!
