Country in the Country 20120826

It's Country in the Country for Sunday, August 26, 2012.

Finally, our long regional nightmare is over. It's the final Country in the Country of the Summer!
Among the Country Yossi and the Shteeble-Hoppers music featured in the first hour, we heard "7 Seven Little Kids," "He's Coming Closer, " "Bashert," and "I'm Proud to Be a Part of Am Yisroel."

Then in the Hour 2, we went out with a bang with the latest news from Israel with Dov Shurin, the Beth Shifra Report and a full hour (well, what was left of it) of Divrei Torah and other learned thoughts, courtesy of Rabbi Moshe Meir Weiss. And with that, let's call it a season! We'll see you in The City in a month or so. Find us on the radio and right here on this podcast. [Podcaster's Note: The Podcast goes out with a whimper. Alert listeners may have noticed that this episode's audio quality was not up to our usual standards of mediocrity. Y'see, our two primary audio recorders failed miserably, as well as our primary backup, so we had to fallback on our secondary backup, which is a smartphone, but it might as well be a wire-recorder up-converted to a wax cylinder. As a result, there's a little distortion, a few skips,  dropouts and warbles, and the show is in mono. Apart from that, it's flawless! We apologize for any inconvenience.  --Mike]
