The Country Yossi Show 20130311

It's The Country Yossi Show for Monday, March 11, 2013.

Before we tell you about tonight's show, let us first announce:

Country Yossi Pesach issue in the oven!

(We'd better remove it within 18 minutes before the levity becomes leavening!) Country Yossi's spectacular 25th anniversary, no-chometz, no Kitnius, non-gebrokts, no-refunds Pesach issue is poised to hit the street this Friday! Exclusive Cover story focuses on the incredible Chol Hamoed Kosher circus (male performers only) at the new convenient Barclays Center featuring the Yeshiva Boys Choir, Uncle Moishy and more wild animals than you can shake a Shmura Matzah at! An in-depth look at CY's quarter century of publishing history and an insightful retrospective by our very own Rabbi Moshe Meir Weiss tops out a stunner of an issue, not to mention the jam-packed early Spring Z Report! So grab a copy quick before they're gone with the Chometz !

Now, on to the show! After reflecting on the past 25 years of the magazine. Country and Heshy looked back at the money they had 25 years ago. Then we enjoyed a little Country Yossi music: "Shteeble People."
Yossi and his callers traded some Pesach-themed shailes for some grand prizes, Dov Shurin phoned in with the latest news from Israel, and we had our monthly visit from Yossi's father with Rosh Chodesh Bentsching. Join us next week when we turn the format upside down and let you ask the shailes -- specifically Pesach shailes as we welcome Rabbi Dovid Heber, editor of the annual STAR-K Passover Directory, and Larry Birnbaum of J Drugs who'll have all the answers. See you then!
